MORRIS FANNON SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA

During the 2008 Virginia Auctioneers Association’s annual convention, the membership raised $7000.00 to start the Morris Fannon Auction School Scholarship. Morris Fannon is one of the founding fathers of the VAA. Our goal in starting the program was to honor Mr. Fannon, promote the importance of participating in auction associations, i. e. state, and national and to help those who have an interest and the desire to join our great profession.
Who is eligible?
Any Virginia resident that is a graduate of an acceptable auction school that has recently obtained a Virginia auctioneer’s license.
What does the scholarship cover?
This is a tuition refund scholarship – up to $1,200 of auction school tuition.
When & where will the scholarship be presented?
This scholarship will be awarded at the Virginia Auctioneers Association Educational Convention held Jan. 10-12, 2014 in Williamsburg, VA.
